1. Proposed title of this feature request [RFE] Add wireguard-tools package to RHEL 9 2. What is the nature and description of the request? We want add wireguard-tools package to RHEL 9 4. Why do we need this? (List the business requirements here) wireguard-tools are used for configuring WireGuard. This supplies the main userspace tooling for using and configuring WireGuard tunnels, including the wg(8) and wg-quick(8) utilities. As we will enable wireguard on RHEL9, this tool is also needed 5. How would we like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here) build wireguard-tools rpm 6. For each functional requirement listed, specify how we can test to confirm the requirement is successfully implemented. - Red Hat confirms availability of wireguard-tools package in RHEL 9 repositories. # dnf install wireguard-tools 7. Is there already an existing RFE upstream or in Red Hat Bugzilla? - wireguard-tools has already been packaged in Fedora since F32: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/wireguard-tools 8. Timeline and which release would they like to target (i.e. RHEL5, RHEL6)? - RHEL 9.0 10. List any affected packages or components. - wireguard-tools Move back to modified to let errata handle the process Looks like a bug for the OSCI bot. Move this bug back to ON_QA manually. |
