So you're going from F-34 to stable/F-33?
How much free space do you have on the disk? Did you expand the VM disk/fs to a reasonable size?
>So you're going from F-34 to stable/F-33? yes,is that supposed to be *not* work? >How much free space do you have on the disk? Thanks, that's may be the problem, but how can I expand the VM disk/fs? [root@fedora ~]# df -h / Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/vda2 2.9G 2.7G 51M 99% / > yes,is that supposed to be *not* work? Should work fine, it's not a particularly well tested path but as much information is always useful for bugs. > >How much free space do you have on the disk? > > Thanks, that's may be the problem, but how can I expand the VM disk/fs? You don't state you virt platform so it will depend. If you're using Linux underneath, which I'm guessing is correct given the use of a qcow2, the following post is one way, no doubt the RHEL documentation also provides alternative methods. https://nullr0ute.com/2018/08/increasing-a-libvirt-kvm-virtual-machine-disk-capacity/ I have expanded the fs following this page https://www.cyberithub.com/resize-qcow2-image-with-virt-resize-kvm-tools/,but it still failed. [root@fedora ~]# df -h / Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/sda2 6.9G 2.7G 3.8G 42% / [root@fedora ~]# rpm-ostree rebase fedora/stable/x86_64/iot ⠠ Receiving metadata objects: 1/(estimating) 32 bytes/s 196 bytes Receiving metadata objects: 1/(estimating) 32 bytes/s 196 bytes... done Checking out tree d616b30... done Enabled rpm-md repositories: updates fedora-cisco-openh264 fedora updates-testing rpm-md repo 'updates' (cached); generated: 2021-04-14T14:34:43Z rpm-md repo 'fedora-cisco-openh264' (cached); generated: 2020-08-25T19:10:34Z rpm-md repo 'fedora' (cached); generated: 2020-10-19T23:27:19Z rpm-md repo 'updates-testing' (cached); generated: 2021-04-14T15:03:58Z Importing rpm-md... done Resolving dependencies... done Checking out packages... done Running pre scripts... done Running post scripts... done Running posttrans scripts... done Writing rpmdb... done error: Failed to update rpmdb (rpmtsRun code -1) Did you get to the bottom of this? I think this can be closed, I've been testing rebasing from rawhide to stable and vice versa without issue. Please reopen if you're able to reproduce.
