Description Pavla Kratochvilova 2021-04-20 06:01:51 UTC
MICRODNF is a minimal package manager that is tightly bound with LIBDNF and LIBREPO. After the last release, there are many changes in code that are built on top of each other or require changes in related components, but not all relationships could be easily identified. With backporting only particular features, DNF team cannot ensure 100% functionality and there is a high risk of problems in the stability or in incomplete functionality.

Comment 7 Carl George 🤠 2021-06-11 18:59:16 UTC
microdnf-3.8.0-2.el8 has been exported to git.centos.org [0], and I'd like to get it built in CentOS Stream 8. However, it fails to build because of the lack of 'pkgconfig(libdnf) >= 0.62.0'. Once the newer libdnf is attached to an advisory, it will be exported to git.centos.org, which will unblock me to build both packages and ship them in CS8.
