We will be solving this in Satellite 7.0 and later with the removal of 'versioned' Satellite Tools repositories for each release of Satellite. We will only have 1 repository for Satellite 7 Tools, eg: rhel-7-server-satellite-tools-7-rpms satellite-tools-7-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms these repositories will be supported across all versions of Satellite 7 and not require immediate upgrades to your clients at time of upgrade of the Satellite. VERIFIED. @Satellite 6.12.0 Snap10 by the fact that both Satellite 6.12 and Satellite 6.11 clients are going to use the same un-versioned Client repo Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
