Comment 1 Nandini Chandra 2021-04-26 18:52:09 UTC
It's my understanding that we can only display whatever the controller returns. So, if we could display the text that the controller returns, that would be great.

Comment 2 Fabien Dupont 2021-04-27 08:14:30 UTC
@mturley, @slucidi, can you please sync to check what's expected by the UI and ensure that there's something to display.

Comment 3 Mike Turley 2021-05-03 14:33:10 UTC
@nachandr the UI is already displaying what the controller returns in the `phase` property of the pipeline step. This field is just blank for the transfer disks step.

@slucidi, @jortel, is it practical to make sure there is always a relevant value in that phase field, or should the UI show something else in the "State" column of the pipeline?

Comment 4 Sam Lucidi 2021-05-04 16:53:59 UTC
We can report Running/Blocked/Completed as the DiskTransfer phase easily enough. Would that work for you?

Comment 5 Mike Turley 2021-05-04 17:21:57 UTC
Yeah, that would be perfect.

Comment 7 Fabien Dupont 2021-06-24 21:50:48 UTC
Please test with the mtv-operator-bundle-2.1.0-5 build / iib:85044.

Comment 8 Igor Braginsky 2021-08-12 09:52:25 UTC
Tested this on MTV 2.1.0-44, verified
