Description of problem:
I have set "Restore previous session" in systemsettings. Yet after reboot (logout, login), the computer starts with empty session instead of previously opened windows.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
plasma-desktop-5.21.4-1.fc34.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to systemsettings, make sure "Restore previous session" is set (should be default)
2. run some applications, like e.g. kmail
3. log out, log in

Actual results:
no kmail window

Expected results:
kmail is running

Additional info:
while at it, also numlock gets turned off after login (not sure if its state is part of saved session info? - however, it gets turned off even when I turn it on during login to type numbers in my password)

Feature is not implemented (yet) for wayland sessions, see also upstream bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=436318

This message is a reminder that Fedora Linux 34 is nearing its end of life.
Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora Linux 34 on 2022-06-07.
It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer
maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a
'version' of '34'.

plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, change the 'version' 
to a later Fedora Linux version.
