Comment 1 Upstream Release Monitoring 2021-05-03 10:46:05 UTC
One or more of the new sources for this package are identical to the old sources. This is most likely caused either by identical source files between releases, for example service files, or the specfile does not use version macro in its source URLs. If this is the second case, then please update the specfile to use version macro in its source URLs.

Comment 16 Ben Beasley 2021-09-01 13:46:09 UTC
I’m working on this, gradually.

I’ve managed to unbundle lexertl14, but pybind11 is still bundled. Unbundling pybind11 should normally be simple but I am having a hard time digging through all the CMake magic. I’ll probably file an upstream issue asking to support an external pybind11 installation and move on.

I’ve removed the ExcludeArch on i686, but the one on armv7hl is still present, for a new reason: an error message that indicates an identical explicit template instantiation appears in more than one translation unit, which violates the C++ standard. GCC tends to produce an error about this on 32-bit ARM but not on other common architectures. Normally the solution would be to patch all but one explicit instantiation to be “extern”, but the problem is unfortunately tangled up in the pybind11 magic, so it’s not quite this simple.

I’ve enabled the Sphinx documentation (with an alternative theme) and the Python tests (skipping a couple).

Comment 17 Ben Beasley 2021-09-03 15:00:42 UTC
Fixed the ExcludeArch on armv7hl. Filed https://github.com/BlueBrain/MorphIO/issues/337 regarding pybind11.

I opened a work-in-progress PR (https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/morphio/pull-request/1); feel free to review or ignore. I want to check my work a little more (e.g. run fedora-review) before I merge it.
