Description Direct Docs Feedback 2021-05-03 12:39:06 UTC
This means an unrestricted usage of Manila with Ganesha. But in the new reference architecture (https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/reference_architectures/2021/html-single/red_hat_openshift_container_platform_4.6_and_4.7_on_red_hat_openstack_platform_16.1/index) of OCP on OSP we state:
"Please Note: The use of Manila CSI with Ganesha and Ceph is Technology Preview and requires a support exception for production workloads."
So essentially it's *not* fully supported? We have to clarify this here and in the OpenShift documentation.
Note that the fact, that it's not supported, could only be found by me on this reference documentation. I did not find any hint in the OpenShift Documentation.
