Description Ruth Netser 2021-05-04 12:25:51 UTC
Description of problem:
As of 4.8, node labels are reconciled by node labeller.

There should be a fallback mechanism (such as applying an annotation on a node) for users to avoid labels reconciliation.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Verified adding the skip-node annotation to the node prevents the node-labeler from reconciling.

oc annotate node {node} node-labeller.kubevirt.io/skip-node=true

Reconciling is resumed on next cycle after node annotation is removed or set to false.
