There is nothing to be done by ceph-csi. Interested parties should follow bug 1966127. Once OCS supports the feature, any provider for VolumeSnapshotClass supports it automatically.

Bipin, is it really needed to keep this BZ open?

This is a tracker for an OCP feature only. Possibly there needs some documentation done, mentioning that the feature is available when OCS is deployed on OCP-new_version or newer.
