Description Florian La Roche 2006-06-26 19:45:32 UTC
Description of problem:

Someone asked about the "unset USERNAME" in /etc/skel/.bash_profile.

This should not be needed for any packages, so could go away.

(Seems this has been USERNAME="" and changed to the above as better
setting if some package still depends on it. That was 2001, so now time
to remove this again.)
