Description Lucas López Montero 2021-06-07 13:55:40 UTC
Description of problem:

The fix for Bug 1819868 has introduced a new issue related to its implementation of rate limiting.

See more details on this discussion [1], where the problem was reported. Description provided:

Rate limiting the mount_event_source can cause unmount events to be
missed, which leads to mount unit cgroups being leaked (not cleaned up
when the mount is gone).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Systemd 248.2.

Comment 5 Michal Sekletar 2021-06-24 11:40:03 UTC
The fix was merged upstream hence we can proceed with the backport to RHEL-8.4 (problematic code isn't in any older release hence I am changing ZTR accordingly).

Comment 6 Lucas López Montero 2021-07-07 07:57:44 UTC
Is there news about the backport to RHEL 8.4? Thank you.
