Description of problem:
Port rhel-8.4.0 branch to rhel-7.x branch (whatever x is) - build for rhel7
Note: not just rhel-8.4.0, but as the version evolves, it will be ported to rhel-7.x.

This is a meta bz to add all the bug fixes made between the rhel-7.8 and rhel-8.4 release. I.e., there is no one Doc Text to describe it.
