Waiting on feedback in the following bugs: https://github.com/intel/Intel-Linux-Processor-Microcode-Data-Files/issues/44 https://github.com/intel/Intel-Linux-Processor-Microcode-Data-Files/issues/51 microcode_ctl-20210608-1.el8 passed regression testing, and it is in sync with the most recent update from upstream (the 2021-06-08 release). It also re-enables 06-8c-01 updates by default. https://beaker.engineering.redhat.com/jobs/5695954 Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
