Given that 1.3.7 stable was released close to a year ago and,
as of yesterday, release candidates for 1.3.8 are already available,
are there plans for updating proftpd?

I try not to do major version updates within stable Fedora/EPEL releases.

1.3.7a (soon to be 1.3.7b) is available in epel8-playground if you want it.
