Description wclark 2021-06-15 22:49:02 UTC
Affected version:

All releases from SATELLITE-6.9.0 branch, for example:

# rpm -q satellite
satellite-6.9.2-1.el7sat.noarch
# rpm -q foreman-installer
foreman-installer-2.3.1.13-1.el7sat.noarch
# head -n3 /usr/share/foreman-installer/modules/candlepin/metadata.json
{
  "name": "katello-candlepin",
  "version": "11.0.0",

However the fix for https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1897344 was meant to use katello-candlepin 11.1.0 instead

The above BZ was marked resolved, and was also resolved in 6.8.z, therefore this is issue should be considered a regression as the fix is not actually present on any Satellite 6.9 release

If you or your customer are affected by the original issue ( https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1897344 ) due to this regression, please refer to the solution: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/5602111

(thanks Joniel for bringing that up)
