Description of problem:

The pandas package doesn't appear to be packaged for python3.  Can pandas 1.1.5 (the last version with python-3.6 support, the system python3 on EL7) be built for EPEL7 python3?

1. look for packaged pandas in EPEL7, find only python2 version

The python2 version can stay as is.

We're missing other dependencies - newer Cython and (much bigger deal) matplotlib.

Oh, and I have no time or interest in driving this, so someone else would need to step up.

Looks like the matplotlib changes would be too invasive.

I'd say this is a CLOSED - WONTFIX.
