Description Javier Martinez Canillas 2021-06-28 08:10:59 UTC
Description of problem:

The final GRUB 2.06 version was released after the grub2 package was cloned from Fedora. This contains several fixes and allow to drop downstream patches from the package.

Rebase the grub2 package to the latest 2.06 release.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

grub2-2.06~rc1

In bug 1987231 where we discussed a specific problem with grub2-set-password, Javier pointed out to this bugzilla. So one of the QA activities for this bugzilla should likely include verification that grub2-set-password stores the password in /boot/grub2/user.cfg and not /boot/efi/EFI/redhat/user.cfg.

Besides this, the rebase is also needed as a dependency of bug 1873860.
