Description Ashish Humbe 2021-06-28 15:10:58 UTC
Description of problem:
In Sat6.9 the old insights client plugin, provides a way to validate network connectivity, which is very helpful for the customers using HTTP Proxy in the network.

This request is to add a button to perform a network connectivity check for the new Insights Plugin too.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite 6.10

Comment 3 Jameer Pathan 2021-08-18 13:27:43 UTC
Verified:

Verified with:
- Satellite 6.10.0 snap 13
- tfm-rubygem-foreman_rh_cloud-4.0.25.1-2.el7sat.noarch

Test steps:
- Go to Configure > Inventory Upload
- Click on dropdown button present on upper right corner of the page.
- Click on "Connectivity test" button.

Observations:
- Satellite pings endpoint with token auth and an endpoint per org (cert auth).
- CLI support for connectivity test is not implemented yet, filed separate RFE BZ#1995102 to track it.
