Description Valentin Rothberg 2021-06-29 13:11:11 UTC
Description of problem:

/etc/containers/registries.conf in RHEL 9 attempts to enforce short-name aliasing. However, as found in [1], there is a typo in the config which keeps the aliasing from being enforced.

The correct name of the option is "short-name-mode" not "short-names-mode" (see "name" vs "names").

Note that TOML seems to happily eat and ignore unknown options.
