Patch for rsnapshot none

Description Andreas Kupfer 2006-07-08 02:31:52 UTC
Description of problem:

When trying to run rsnapshot on FC5 i get the following error.

[root@marlin backup]# rsnapshot daily
/bin/cp: angegebenes Ziel â/backup/daily.1/â ist kein Verzeichnis: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht
gefunden
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
rsnapshot encountered an error! The program was invoked with these options:
/usr/bin/rsnapshot daily
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
ERROR: /bin/cp failed. Perhaps this is not GNU cp?
ERROR: Error! cp_al("/backup/daily.0/", "/backup/daily.1/")

According to http://bugs.donarmstrong.com/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=339845 this is fixed
upstream. The attached Patch from above location fixes the problem for me.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Comment 2 Chris Petersen 2006-07-08 03:39:02 UTC
1.2.9 is available in rawhide for testing, and fixes this bug. I'm not yet
comfortable pushing it out to the stable branch, but will likely do so within a
few weeks.
