It looks like Carl hasn't committed to the f2c package since 2012 so I'm working on this issue. I had to modify the fc script removing the /usr/local references and had to use sed to subsitute the correct libdir for 32 / 64 bit systems. I don't use this package directly so please test and report any issues.
