Description aleshy 2021-07-13 18:51:03 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1954504 +++

Description of problem:

After locking and logging in right afterwards the sound is not available.
Only after a complete reboot the sound is back again / restarting pipewire via systemctl

Using lightdm to lock breaks pipewire somehow, i3lock seems to work fine.
However lightdm is shipped with Fedora i3.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Fedora Version 34 (i3) 64-bit
Kernel Linux 5.12.14-300.fc34.x86_64
Pipewire 0.3.31
lightdm 1.30.0-14.fc34

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. lock (dm-tool lock)
2. login again

Actual results:

No Sound

Expected results:

Sound should be available again
