Description Lukáš Hellebrandt 2021-07-23 10:18:52 UTC
Description of problem:
When applying a remediation (after workarounding bug 1985287 by installing insights-client package), I encounter the following error:

"""
encountered error 'Playbook failed signature validation: 'Popen' object has no attribute 'comunicate'', aborting.
"""

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Sat 6.10.0 snap 10.0

How reproducible:
Deterministic

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure cloud connector, have a remediable host and inventory uploaded
2. Make sure insights-client package is installed on the Satellite
3. On CRC, create a remediation
4. Attempt to apply that remediation

Actual results:
Failure and cited error

Expected results:
Successfully remediated

Comment 1 Petr Pochop 2021-08-06 13:23:38 UTC
