Description wzhou 2006-07-14 09:32:46 UTC
Description of problem:

I am trying to have a look at utrace introduced after 2.6.17-1.2373. And I
download kernel-2.6.17-1.2391.fc6.ppc64.rpm from
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/development/ppc/os/Fedora/RPMS/.

After I updating the kernel, the kernel can't boot up. Here is what it reports:

Peter, mkinitrd problem maybe ?

Comment 2 David Woodhouse 2006-11-22 18:30:20 UTC
Almost certainly a temporary mkinitrd or kernel issue during development. Not
seen in FC6 -- at least not here. Please re-open if you see it again.
