With build 389-ds-base-1.4.2.4-17.module+el8.2.0+12297+55707ea6.x86_64

1) Create DS instance with sample entries
2) Enable content sync and retrocl plugin
3) Restart the instance
4) Run persistent search
# ldapsearch -LLL -h localhost -p 389 -D "cn=directory manager" -w password -E sync=rp -b 'cn=monitor'
SyncInfo Received

^C

The instance remains up and running, no crash
