Can confirm. Not sure if this is intentional or not.

Comment 5 Caolan McNamara 2021-08-14 16:17:34 UTC
FWIW my understanding from https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1793632 is that the draw package is intentionally not in the Workstation default install. I suppose the bugzilla component for this bug should be "distribution" or "comps" or something rather than libreoffice itself.

Comment 6 Nate Graham 2021-08-14 17:20:22 UTC
...Or even at https://pagure.io/fedora-kde/SIG/issues, which is where packaging decisions specific to the KDE spin are made.

Yes, I'll should fill a ticket at pagure about it.

Ohhh, but that's really a big change for the common user who normally open the menu and see if a program its on the distro (even if it's just a little desktop link because as seen on the other ticket, draw functionality basically its installed allright).
Shouldn't that change be subject to the process of discussion as others changes on fedora linux?

Comment 9 Geraldo Simião 2021-08-14 20:29:31 UTC
doing a little research I found that ticket here from 2 years ago: https://pagure.io/fedora-workstation/issue/129
so it was discussed at the workstation group, and caused the removal from a 20kb softlink, that points to a great piece of software still installed on the system (not really a win/win situation here.

Comment 10 Geraldo Simião 2021-08-15 00:34:43 UTC
As it was a deliberate change, I'll close this ticket and continue this topic on the pagure.
