kf5-solid (recent versions) support libimobiledevice and libmount that helps getting pictures from Iphones. The full afc support is still missing in kio-extras (dolphin and kf5-kio have the necessary  changes already included). Please add something like:
BuildRequires:  libimobiledevice-devel
BuildRequires:  libmount-devel
to kf5-solid spec file. Thanks!
