FWIW, looks like there is not much to do for s390x here: hw_compat_6_0 only contains entries that are not related to s390x, so this should not affect the s390x machine type. Setting ITM 11, to get this into CTC1. Expected scope: live migration forth and back Source: 9B Destination: 9.0 (w/ qemu 6.1) Guest machine type s390-ccw-virtio-rhel8.5.0 Verified forth and back migration works with: Source host qemu-kvm-6.0.0-13.el9_b.5.s390x Destination host qemu-kvm-6.1.0-6.el9.s390x Guest s390-virtio 5.14.0-1.7.1.el9.s390x Auto test case virsh.migrate_vm.positive_testing.live_migration.bi_directional.without_postcopy Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
