This originally had two PRs linked, the second one has been dropped and the first merged before branching happened. move bug to VERIFIED as it has already been verified on latest 4.9 nightly build and works as expected. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
