Description smitterl 2021-09-03 10:00:43 UTC
Plan is to move to virtiofsd-rs (Rust implementation of virtiofsd)[1] but the interface is different from virtiofsd [2].

Comment 2 Jaroslav Suchanek 2022-03-30 08:01:34 UTC
Since virtiofsd-rs should be compatible with the C version, this should be just testonly from libvirt perspective.

Comment 3 Lili Zhu 2022-04-05 04:51:30 UTC
Tested this bug with:
virtiofsd-1.1.0-4.el9_0.x86_64
qemu-kvm-6.2.0-11.el9_0.2.x86_64
libvirt-8.0.0-8.el9_0.x86_64

The default installed virtiofs package is virtiofsd now, instead of qemu-virtiofsd

Basic/critical function test passes. Mark the bug as verified.

Comment 4 Thomas Huth 2022-11-17 09:45:56 UTC
RHEL 9.0 and 9.1 have already been reelased, so I think we can close this now.
