@xuli please set the ITM when setting the qa_ack+ and the bug already has the DTM (also changing the DTM to the current one)

Comment 4 xxiong 2021-09-15 02:32:58 UTC
Checked on compose: RHEL-8.6.0-20210902.0-x86_64 (gdm-40.0-12.el8.x86_64) and upgraded gdm to: gdm-40.0-14.el8.x86_64.rpm

Then the login GUI display well, and also checked login with each display env (Standard(X11 display server)/Classic(X11 display server/Custom/User script.

Checked both GEN1 and GEN2 VM

Will check it again when the gdm merged into compose, thanks

Checked on compose: RHEL-8.6.0-20210922.0-x86_64 (kernel: 4.18.0-343.el8.x86_64, gdm: gdm-40.0-16.el8.x86_64)

1. Now the GUI installation works well with GEN1 and GEN2

2. Also checked login with each display server, GUI login and display well
-Standard(X11 display server)
-Classic(X11 display server)
-Custom
-User script

3.Run the script of comment 8:
GEN1:
\n\n\nChecking if Xorg fallback worked-: OK
test-fallback.sh: line 62: 2449 Terminated journalctl -f -n0
wayland x11
[root@vm-198-196 rhel]#

GEN2:
\n\n\nChecking if Xorg fallback worked-: OK
test-fallback.sh: line 62: 11625 Terminated journalctl -f -n0
wayland x11
[root@bootp-73-199-226 rhel]#
