Comment 1 Artem 2021-09-07 11:21:02 UTC
Thanks for reporting. Can't test it right now (for f33 and f34). Could you try new 1.2.0 version first[1] and if problem still persist we would try to figure out is it Fedora or upstream bug.

"strace -f corectrl" is of no help to track this, as it's trapping SIGTERM from CTRL-C and does something else to terminate the subprocess, but
tracing the seperated process by pid seems to find something. Log attached.

GFXCARD: Nvidia GTX 1050
Drivers from RPMFusion.

Mesa packages:

glxinfo really has no GLX_MESA_query_renderer flag in it's output.

Does CoreCtrl app support nvidia cards? https://gitlab.com/corectrl/corectrl/-/wikis/home#features

Mesa in f33 a little bit outdated but doubt that's a problem. Still would be nice to try this on f34.

Let's try to report this upstream? https://gitlab.com/corectrl/corectrl/-/issues

Once again https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2001795#c7

Can't reproduce. Works for me. App even never supposed to work on Nvidia GPU. Or report upstream this, not RHBZ.
