Description Richard W.M. Jones 2021-09-08 16:37:52 UTC
Description of problem:

Related to:

"Use -machine graphics=off instead of sga device"
and
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2000845
"RFE: Remove SGA, deprecate cirrus, and set defaults for QEMU machine-types in RHEL9"

libguestfs currently uses <bios useserial=yes> on
x86 platforms to enable full debugging information
from seabios.

libvirt should provide a way to enable BIOS output to
a serial device on x86. I think the recommended way
is to use -nographic or -machine graphics=off (both
seem to do the same thing).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

libvirt 7.6.0-2.el9.x86_64
