Description Rex Dieter 2021-09-08 18:23:12 UTC
Filing mostly for tracking purposes, but since the introduction of
libglvnd-1.3.4
to rawhide, there's been at least a handful of FTBFS issues, notably in the Qt/KDE stack, including (noticed so far)
qt5-qtbase
qt6-qtbase
kwin

I'll be linking FTBFS bugs here

Given this issue, until sorted out, please do not push libglvnd-1.3.4 to F35 if possible

Is this still an issue as it's blocking the update to nvidia 495 beta driver.
egl-wayland requires == libglvnd-1.34

It will also block later plasma changes.

FEDORA-2021-56ad588a45 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 35. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-56ad588a45

Comment 4 Rex Dieter 2021-10-24 13:44:30 UTC
Not all the blocker bugs are resolced yet. Remaining one qt6-qtbase is still open, I'll go double check that one

Comment 5 Rex Dieter 2021-10-24 13:47:25 UTC
Recent qt6 qtbase builds have been successful, so all clear to move forward.
