Patch for disabling hinting
Patch for disabling hinting.
This patch is required becuase no-hinting renders better fonts for these languages, the smudging is less, the font is more readable, asthetic sense is better. Mayank, you better ship the config file with the fonts package, not fontconfig. I actually appreciate it if you move the current 50-no-hint-fonts.conf out of the fontconfig package. That's certainly an improvement. Check out package dejavu-lgc-fonts for example to see how you can do that. Thanks. Thinking again, and now having bug 200397 too, I think we may as well go on and commit these to fontconfig and later on clean up the configurations pushing them into font packages OR upstream.
