This bug was initially created as a copy of Bug #1994059

I am copying this bug because: 

RHEL 9-GA needs to be kept in sync with RHEL 9-Beta.

OpenJDK 17 won't see its final release until 2021-09-14:

https://openjdk.java.net/projects/jdk/17/

We should update the package in RHEL to this version when it is available, so we don't ship an early access release in RHEL 9 Beta.
