Deluge has several issues with libtorrent 2.0. It more or less limps along, but if you check logs it is hiding all kinds of errors. There are some PRs and commits upstream that are relevant, I think:

That second one still seems to be WIP, so we might not want to merge it yet, but I'm filing an issue so this is recorded somewhere.
