Description Vasishta 2021-09-24 11:39:01 UTC
Description of problem:
Got to know that verify-prereqs functionality has been removed in upstream but it appears in downstream help message.
Got to know that it would not appear in 5.1, this BZ is a tracker for verifying the removal of the option.
(Using this option as per the help message leads to error message)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Latest rhcs 5.0

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure the cluster
2. check cephadm --help and try to use verify-prereqs as mentioned in the help message

Actual results:
verify-prereqs appear in help message

Expected results:
information on verify-prereq shouldn't appear in help message as it meant not to work as mentioned, actually removed in upstream

Comment 1 Sebastian Wagner 2021-09-24 11:47:31 UTC
This should already be in 5.1
