Description of problem:
The version of git currently installed with Fedora 35 is 3.6.3.
Please upgrade to 3.8.2.

How reproducible:
Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. dnf -y install maven
2. mvn --version

Actual results:
3.6.3

Expected results:
3.8.2

Maven update to version 3.8.x is planned for Fedora 36.
Fedora 35 is feature-complete at this point, thus no Maven rebases are planned in Fedora 35 - just bugfixes.
