Description Petr Pisar 2021-09-29 09:46:17 UTC
perl-CryptX (bug #1543336) requires Adler32 support which available in libtomcrypt since 1.18.0. EPEL7 provides 1.17. Would you be willing to upgrade libtomcrypt to at least version 1.18.0 in EPEL 7?

Comment 1 Denis Fateyev 2021-10-06 22:29:02 UTC
Please let us know if there are any plans to update the package. We can help out if any assistance is needed.
This update blocks another package provision (as pointed above by Petr).

Comment 2 Simone Caronni 2022-02-10 16:42:53 UTC
Sorry, completely lost in the thousand of bugzilla emails and tickets. I will look into it.

Anyone willing to step into maintaining libtomcrypt? I was maintaining it mostly to my usage of stoken, but is no longer the case.

Thanks.

I believe this ticket can be closed.
Considering the fact that we have provided in epel7 as much as we can, and epel9 provides full features scope out-of-box.

Comment 4 Simone Caronni 2022-03-28 10:14:40 UTC
Feel free to ask for admin access for the package, if needed.

Comment 5 Petr Pisar 2022-03-28 10:42:41 UTC
perl-CryptX in EPEL 7 bundles a more recent libtomcrypt now.
