Description Neal Gompa 2021-10-05 11:38:47 UTC
Description of problem:
asciidoctor is used by a number of packages for building documentation (like man pages) in Fedora (a notable example being ntpsec). It'd be great if you would be willing to ship rubygem-asciidoctor in EPEL 9 so we can use it in EPEL.

I've done a test build against epel9-next with fedpkg on the rawhide package, and it works fine.

Additional info:
I originally requested this to be added to CRB for CentOS Stream/RHEL 9 in bug 2010397, but the maintainer there asked for it to be maintained in EPEL instead.

Comment 1 Neal Gompa 2021-12-14 08:06:33 UTC
EPEL 9 is now available, could you please branch and build it for EPEL 9?

Comment 2 Neal Gompa 2022-01-14 14:22:42 UTC
Will you be able to branch and build rubygem-asciidoctor in epel9?
The EPEL Packaging SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer
if you do not wish to build it on epel9.
