Description a.trubitsyn 2021-10-06 16:48:24 UTC
Description of problem:
On lxdepanel 0.10.1-2 for Fedora 34 & 35
Submenu "Launch Mixer" on "Volume Control" add-on can't find xterm (but need to find default for lxde lxterminal)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
lxpanel 0.10.1-2

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add "Volume Control" add-on on lxpanel
2. Point on it by the mouse
3. Click on mouse right button & select second menu item "Launch Mixer"

Actual results:
get window with "Error" title and text on it:
Failed to execute child process
"xterm" (No such file or directory)

Expected results:
start the mixer (may be by default in lxde lxterminal, not absent xterm)

Additional info:
Can reproduce this with https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/35_Beta-1.2/Spins/x86_64/iso/Fedora-LXDE-Live-x86_64-35_Beta-1.2.iso from september 22
and after dnf update to latest available lxpanel

FEDORA-2021-3c0f462e64 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 35. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-3c0f462e64

Note that if you already have ~/.config/libfm/libfm.conf , you have to remove "terminal=" line from the file.

Origato, Mamoru!

I try fedora 35 lxde iso
https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/35_RC-1.1/Spins/x86_64/iso/Fedora-LXDE-Live-x86_64-35-1.1.iso from 2021-10-20 06:45 &
https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/35_RC-1.2/Spins/x86_64/iso/Fedora-LXDE-Live-x86_64-35-1.2.iso from 2021-10-26 06:01

Is it possible to include you change in final spin iso?

I check if it works when i install fedora 35 on any of my or my friend's computers.
Do you plan to make change on Fedora 34?

Comment 4 Mamoru TASAKA 2021-10-29 13:16:06 UTC
35-RC1.2 is already marked as final spin, so the above updates won't be included in iso.
I may push the change on Fedora 34 later, but not soon, perhaps.
