Description Kalev Lember 2021-10-07 14:30:35 UTC
This is a Freeze Exception tracking ticket to include Firefox 93 on Fedora 35 release media.

We are still early in the freeze and it would be nice to pull in the new firefox update so that (a) we get the latest security fixes, and (b) so that firefox version doesn't go backwards for people who are updating to pre-release Fedora 35 during the final freeze.

Note that dependent firefox and nss updates are separate and both would need to be pulled in through the freeze, not just firefox.

+3 in https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/blocker-review/issue/522 , marking accepted. I'll give the updates another day or so to cook before requesting they be pushed, though.

Comment 7 Kalev Lember 2021-10-09 16:28:21 UTC
Reopening as only the nss update was pushed, not firefox.

Comment 8 Adam Williamson 2021-10-09 17:18:14 UTC
ugh, this is kind of a mess. 93.0-1 was in the push request but got ejected from the push because some tests failed (I'm not sure why, I'll have to look). Now 93.0-2 has obsoleted 93.0-1 but *lots* of tests are failing for it. I'll try and sort it out.
