Description nocar 2021-10-09 02:14:03 UTC
Description of problem: upon a soft reset of the pinebook pro the display will glitch out with vertical bars in place of the text on the u-boot console.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2021.10

How reproducible: as far as I know 100%, I have tried installing uboot 3 different times on the pinebook pro and all tries have exhibited this behavior

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install fedora 35 beta as described in https://nullr0ute.com/2021/05/fedora-on-the-pinebook-pro/
2. attempt to soft reset the device, I used the restart functionality
3. wait until uboot tries to initialize the display.

Actual results: vertical bars in place of text

Expected results: uboot initializes the display and text is visible

Additional info: I do believe this has already been fixed upstream (if I recall correctly, I could be wrong on this) and I know for sure other distribution's pinebook pro uboot already has the correct patch.
