Description Fabiano FidĂȘncio 2021-10-12 10:58:19 UTC
I've faced this Today, my installation was not finished because "Connect to Red Hat Insights" toolbox comes selected by default, but during the installation, for some reason, anaconda couldn't connect to Insights.

Instead of letting me know about this and proceeding with the installation, I got a message to report a bug (which then failed to be reported) and the exit.

Users should have a way to be notified about this, with instructions on how to connect to insights later on, and be able to at least finish their installation.

Thanks for the request - this feature will be included in RHEL-8.5 and it will be possible to finish the installation even when insights-client fails. See bug 1931069.
