Description Paul W. Frields 2006-08-04 11:42:07 UTC
Description of problem:
The wordpress package in Fedora Extras has a Requires: on mysql-server which is
not necessary. Plenty of users run their Wordpress installation on a separate
system from the MySQL server to minimize security risks and/or to make better
use of computing resources. Instead, since we don't have a RPM "Suggests:" tag
(not that I am arguing for it), this package should have a note in the
README.fedora.wordpress file that tells users they might want to install
mysql-server if they don't already have one.
