.Firefox add-ons are no longer disabled after upgrading to RHEL 9
When you upgraded from RHEL 8 to RHEL 9.0, all add-ons that you had previously enabled in Firefox were disabled.
With this release, the problem has been fixed, and upgrading to RHEL 9.1 or later preserves Firefox add-ons.

*** Bug 2029223 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** The issue here may be that Firefox is missing something it needs to verify the integrity of the downloaded plugins. You can work around this bug by using about:config and toggling xpinstall.signatures.required to false. Sadly it must remain false even after the add-ons are installed or you lose them all. new ff build addons are wotking even with xpinstall.signatures.required - true. I added to the Doc Text mention of the current state. Addons will not enable automatically after installing the new rpm, the verification process seems to be triggered on addons install/update only, I'm not aware of how to trigger te addon verification manually. *** Bug 2038277 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** CentOS Stream 9 updated to firefox-91.4.0-3.el9.x86_64 which fixes this issue. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory (new packages: firefox), and where to find the updated files, follow the link below.
