Comment 1 Peter Hutterer 2021-10-21 03:47:25 UTC
Note that we have pipewire-media-session as a subpackage of pipewire.spec already. Upstream split out media-session into its own repository and removed it from the pipewire repo. This package represents this split, obsoleting the existing pipewire-media-session package (hopefully correctly so).

Taking this review.

Comment 3 Neal Gompa 2021-10-23 12:34:46 UTC
I think this package makes more sense being called "pipewire-media-session" rather than the inscrutable "media-session" package name. That would also eliminate the need for Obsoletes+Provides.

Comment 5 Neal Gompa 2021-10-25 11:19:34 UTC
Review notes:

- Packaging follows naming guidelines
- Package licensing is indicated correctly
- Packaging builds and installs
- No serious issues from rpmlint

PACKAGE APPROVED.

(fedscm-admin): The Pagure repository was created at https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/pipewire-media-session

Comment 7 Peter Hutterer 2021-10-27 04:09:52 UTC
rawhide builds are done: pipewire-media-session-0.4.0-1.fc36

F35 builds come when pipewire 0.3.39 is in stable.
