Description Bipin Kunal 2021-10-21 12:01:40 UTC
Description of problem (please be detailed as possible and provide log
snippests):

While create storagesystem, storage platform drop down only lists "IBM FlashSystem". RHCS is missing.

So no way to deploy OCS in external mode using standalone RHCS using UI.

Version of all relevant components (if applicable):

OCP-4.9.0
ODF : quay.io/rhceph-dev/ocs-registry:4.9.0-195.ci

Does this issue impact your ability to continue to work with the product
(please explain in detail what is the user impact)?

yes

Is there any workaround available to the best of your knowledge?
No

Rate from 1 - 5 the complexity of the scenario you performed that caused this
bug (1 - very simple, 5 - very complex)?

Can this issue reproducible?
yes easily with the latest *-195 build

Can this issue reproduce from the UI?
yes

If this is a regression, please provide more details to justify this:
Yes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install ODF 4.9.0-195.ci
2. Create Storage System using External Platform

Actual results:
RHCS is not getting listed along with IBM flashsystem

Expected results:
RHCS should be even listed along with IBM flashsystem
